Simulated balance
A $50K account is a virtual evaluation denomination. It is not a $50,000 cash deposit or a balance the participant can withdraw.
VERIFIED PROVIDER RESEARCH · UPDATED 17 OCT 2026
An informational look at BrightFunded's simulated multi-asset evaluations: how the 1-Step, 2-Step Bright and 2-Step Classic structures differ, what their drawdown thresholds mean and which participation limits apply.
Eligibility and risk: BrightFunded's services are restricted to adults aged 18 or older. Its account balances and trades are simulated. Participation fees are real, evaluation success is not guaranteed, and simulated results do not assure a reward.
EVALUATION STRUCTURE
BrightFunded describes three families of paid trading evaluations: 1-Step, 2-Step Bright and 2-Step Classic. The first has one evaluation stage; the others include a second verification stage. Completing a stage requires satisfying published objectives while remaining within the provider's risk limits. Passing an evaluation is not guaranteed.
The provider distinguishes daily loss limits from maximum drawdown limits. A trailing limit can change with the account's reference balance, while a static limit is anchored to a fixed starting balance. These thresholds are restrictions on a simulated account; they do not protect the participant's real evaluation fee from loss.
The provider also requires a minimum number of trading days and publishes separate eligibility and identification conditions. These factors can affect whether an evaluation is completed, regardless of the simulated account's reported result.
PARTICIPATION COST CONTEXT
Provider screenshots dated 17 October 2026 showed six simulated USD account denominations, ranging from $5K to $200K, for each evaluation family. The participation charges were denominated in EUR and are real costs, unlike the virtual account balances.
Price changes, discounts and optional add-ons can alter the total fee. A paid evaluation does not represent an investment deposit, an entitlement to funded capital or a guaranteed right to a payout. The exact current fee must be confirmed from current provider terms.
We do not rank, recommend or link to paid trading evaluations in this educational overview.
MARKET CLASSIFICATION
BrightFunded's evaluations can cover forex, indices, commodities and crypto instruments under a single simulated account model. The provider's product materials show MT5, cTrader and DXtrade platform options; availability may depend on the account and location.
Its published daily loss methodology references account balance and equity around the daily reset. Breaching the relevant risk limit can lead to loss of access to the evaluation. A later funded-stage reward is conditional, not guaranteed, and does not mean the participant trades an account containing withdrawable personal capital.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
A $50K account is a virtual evaluation denomination. It is not a $50,000 cash deposit or a balance the participant can withdraw.
The evaluation fee is a real expense; breaching program rules can end participation. Fee refunds and account upgrades depend on applicable contract terms, not solely on evaluation results.
Promotional descriptions of profit sharing are not guaranteed returns. Identity verification, separate agreements and payout conditions apply.
BrightFunded requires participants to be at least 18 years old. This article is research material and does not provide account access.
